evercare® is OneMed’s brand of products for surgical wards, infusion and injection, and wound care. We also offer a customized kit (MediKit) under the evercare® brand.

SELEFA® excels mainly in examination gloves, paper and plastic consumables, bandages and gauze, and non-woven products.

The BATIST® brand mainly comprises products for wound care and bandages, as well as basic customized kits.

All of OneMed’s products undergo a comprehensive quality control process. This process includes regular inspection of the production facilities and randomized tests.

Our focus is always on patients and the unique demands posed by their cases when choosing a product – this improves the patient outcome, which in turn raises the quality of care and lowers the total cost of care.

OneMed’s Decision Support Guide offers healthcare providers an effective, brand-neutral method of systematically selecting products adapted to their patients’ unique needs. It also supports a more focused and efficient quality improvement process.

Healthcare staff first determine the correct diagnosis and then, with the help of the Guide, identify the right medical supplies for the case at hand. This allows staff to focus on patients and their cases without wasting unnecessary time learning about the strengths and weaknesses of the various products.

The Guide solves many everyday challenges facing healthcare providers across Europe. These challenges include varying levels of knowledge, a huge range of product options, a lack of brand-neutral information and the absence of natural and efficient communication channels.

Wound care initiative

Studies show that around two million people in Europe suffer from chronic wounds. Beyond the considerable suffering endured by each patient, these wounds consume 30-40% of nurses’ time within the home care segment.

OneMed offers a comprehensive concept for chronic wound care that guarantees distinct and measureable results. Our program ensures that dressing and bandage changes are performed correctly and with the right products at the right frequency.

This drastically reduces healing time and releases 40-80% of the time currently spent on wound care. These results have been proven repeatedly with different customers and from different starting points. With the help of OneMed, a municipality in western Sweden reduced its average healing time for chronic wounds from 10 months to 10 weeks.

That led to a significant increase in the quality of care and reduced the total cost of care. By tailoring treatment for each individual, the municipality improved their patients’ quality of life and gave nurses more time to care for patients. The average treatment cost fell 80%. This result was no one-off occurrence – it reflects the type of results our customers typically achieve when they participate in our wound care initiative.

OneMed is highly experienced in optimizing customers’ assortments to ensure their needs are met more simply and more cost-effectively.

The first step of assortment optimization is a comprehensive analysis of current consumption – what is used versus what is needed. Together with customers, we compare products and fine tune their product assortment to create a mix that better meets their needs and expectations.

The second step is inducing healthcare professionals to accept the new assortment, to understand its benefits and to start using the new products. This can be an extended process and requires the commitment of the customer and OneMed to meet the unique needs of each customer’s situation. This is why we usually run small-scale tests before full-scale implementation of the new assortment.
